We are delighted to announce that the celebrated choreographer and dancer Richard Siegal will speak with Upgrade! Munich about how he integrates media and dance in his work!
In 2010 Richard Siegal will be Artist-in-Residence in the Muffatwerk in Munich. He will be developing and premiering his dance pieces and installations here in Munich, including a new performance in October as the opening of the DANCE 2010 Festival of Contemporary Dance.
Additionally, he will be participating in a regular and intensive discussion of dance and society with the Munich dance scene and public, and wishes to integrate Munich dancers into his planned productions. He began his activities in the Muffatwerk in Februar with a workshop with the title “If/Then + Gesture Recognition.” In addition to his currently planned international guest performances, he is developing new projects with national and international coproducers.
